Accelerate Health

Accelerate Health, Berlin, developed the measured, physiology-based method. Atlantic Reset brings it to teams on the coast.

The reset

Feels like a week off. Works like a programme.

Your people arrive wired. They leave slept, moved, breathed, and closer to each other than a year of meetings could manage.

Why it works

Under pressure, people do not lose their skills. They lose access to them.

Most culture programmes work on mindset. We work on the physiology that decides whether the mindset is available at 4pm on a hard Thursday.

23%of employees worldwide are engaged at work. The rest are running on reserve.Gallup, State of the Global Workplace: 2024 Report

Three benefits, one body

Emotional, mental, physical. They were never separate.

A three-dimensional approach: physiology first, then leadership expands on the capacity it now has.

A programme group in a session together, relaxed.
Emotional

Balance through connection

  • Feeling understood, not managed
  • Less reactivity, faster repair after friction
  • Trust that survives a bad quarter
Participants writing on the floor during an integration session.
Mental

Presence and clarity

  • Clearer decisions under pressure
  • More focused hours in the day
  • The same hours, more of the person in them
A group outdoors with their arms up, laughing.
Physical

Energy, sleep, longevity

  • A regulated nervous system, measured
  • Sleep that recovers instead of pauses
  • Habits that protect health for the long run

Healthy intensity, not grind

In the age of AI, the human is the edge. We put people back at the core of the game.

Ambition stays. Long weeks stay. What changes is how energy, focus and recovery are managed, so high performance comes from the state rather than against it.

23% more profitable. Teams in the top quartile for engagement, against the bottom quartile, across 183,806 business units. Gallup Q12 Meta-Analysis, 2024.

The programme

Three phases. The middle one is the trip.

Phase 1

Baseline

14 days before · 30 minutes to 2 hours per person, by format
  • Confidential intake: energy, sleep, load, recovery
  • Optional physiological measurement through a wearable, where the company opts in
  • A call with leadership to name what the team is carrying
  • Everyone sees their own state. Nobody else does.
Phase 3

Integration

30 to 90 days · at work
  • A daily five-minute breath routine, the protocol shown in a randomised trial to improve mood and lower arousal within a month (Balban 2023)
  • Two 45-minute online sessions, week 2 and week 6, plus one with leadership
  • Day-30 re-measurement against each person's own baseline
  • Aggregated, anonymised report for the board, groups of eight or more

What's included

We build the whole programme. You bring the team.

Personnel

Facilitators, breathwork and somatic practitioners, and the Accelerate Health team including clinicians and therapists. Fully staffed and briefed.

Programme design

Every session sequenced and timed around your existing agenda.

Assessment protocols

Baseline, day-30 and day-90 measurement, built and interpreted by the team.

Logistics

Coordinated with your venue or agency. One contact, one budget.

Reporting

An aggregated, board-ready outcome report.

The science, in plain terms

Evidence before claims. Here is what the research supports.

We use these findings to explain the mechanism, not to promise miracles.

Self-regulation

The body's regulation capacity can be measured

Heart-rate variability reflects how well the prefrontal brain regulates the stress response, and it is trainable.

Thayer, Åhs, Fredrikson, Sollers & Wager (2012), Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews.
Breath

Five minutes of structured breathing measurably lifts mood and lowers arousal

One month of daily five-minute breathwork improved mood and lowered physiological arousal more than an equal dose of meditation, in a randomised trial.

Balban et al. (2023), Cell Reports Medicine.
Connection

Social connection is a survival factor, not a soft one

Across 148 studies and 308,849 people, stronger relationships meant a 50% greater likelihood of survival.

Holt-Lunstad, Smith & Layton (2010), PLoS Medicine.
Engagement

Disengagement is the most expensive line nobody reports

Low engagement costs the global economy an estimated 8.9 trillion dollars a year, about 9% of GDP.

Gallup, State of the Global Workplace: 2024 Report.
Performance

The gap between the best and worst teams is a profit gap

Across 183,806 business units, those in the top quartile for engagement were 23% more profitable than those in the bottom quartile.

Gallup Q12 Meta-Analysis, 11th Edition (2024).

What people take home

Depth, without the language of a retreat.

  1. Their own state measured and explained, not only felt.
  2. Why they become reactive under pressure, and how to steer it on purpose.
  3. Three routines that fit a working week, and a body that remembers the coast.
  4. Clearer decisions, more focused work, calmer leadership, visible against their own baseline.
  5. A connection to the people next to them that outlasts the trip.

Who leads it

Meet Cimberley Groß.

Cimberley created the first health and leadership programme built around the nervous system, and developed the physiology-based method behind Accelerate Health. Atlantic Reset is where she brings it to teams on the coast.

  • Certified Ayurvedic health practitioner, with years leading large groups of founders and leaders through work they had never done before.
  • Built multinational teams across Europe.
  • A background in venture capital, company building and consulting, so she speaks the language of the people who sign the budget.
  • Directs every programme personally, with Accelerate Health's practitioners on measurement and the clinical and psychological layer

You meet her, and the practitioners who will be in your room, before you sign.

In their words

People who have done it. Here is what stayed.

Founders and operators who went through the programme, in their own words, unedited.

“Transformative, inspiring, calming. I signed up for the tracking and data, but left with a spiritual awakening. Every leader should make the topics that Accelerate Health explores part of their strategy, in business and in life.”
Svenja TegtmeierFounder and CEO, SAIZ
“I didn’t expect taking care of my mental and physical health to feel this good, or this effective. The team is world-class, the group dynamic was instant trust, and I left with habits I actually keep. It is rare to feel supported, challenged, and energized at the same time.”
Evoléna de Wilde d’EstmaelCo-founder and CEO, Faircado
“It was a deeply personal learning experience that strengthened my body, calmed my mind, and opened up a new level of clarity as a leader. The group gave me incredible strength and courage to step into my role more fully, to question myself honestly, and to do the inner work that truly matters.”
Manuela MohrFounder and CEO, Education Innovation LAB
“Instead of superficial networking or fundraising, it was all about genuine personal depth, backed by top-notch technology and science. Surrounded by inspiring impact founders, guided by world-class coaches, I was able to reflect, grow, and connect on a whole new level. An experience that stays with you long after it is over.”
Greg OnwuegbuzieCo-founder, deschoolonize
“I signed up to rebuild how I operate day to day. What stuck was a breathwork protocol I have done daily for three months because it works. The group dynamic actually mapped to the realities of running a business. The team is high-caliber, and the program is worth applying to.”
Samuel BeckFounder, Isargreen
“Finally, I discovered noise cancelling in my head. Unlocking new levels of focus, performance, sleep, and ultimately energy.”

Five things this is not

Clear lines make it easier to say yes.

A spa weekend

Pleasant, and gone by Monday. We want observable change in the working week, or it did not work.

Esoteric

Somatic and breath practices, explained in plain physiology and tied to the evidence. No belief required.

Clinical treatment

Prevention, rebuilding and recovery after exhaustion. Not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

A talking circle

We lead. Structured practices with a clear beginning and end. Nobody shares their feelings with the room.

Biohacking

Data serves self-regulation, not optimisation for its own sake. Health data is never an employer's instrument.

Questions we get

Straight answers.

Is this a retreat with a corporate label?

It feels like the best parts of one. It works like a programme: a baseline, a led reset on the coast, an integration phase at work, and a day-30 measurement. Half of it happens before and after the trip.

Who sees the measurement data?

Each person sees their own. The company sees aggregated, anonymised results for groups of eight or more. Health data is stored separately, never used as an employer instrument, and deleted after the programme unless the participant asks to keep it.

Our people are sceptical engineers and salespeople.

Our best room. Every session is explained in physiology before it starts, everything is optional, and the first one is easy and slightly fun. By day two the sceptics are usually in the water first.

Cold water. Really?

Only for those who want it, always guided, never a test of anyone. Most people go in on day two, once they have seen what it does for the people who went in on day one.

Where does Accelerate Health come in?

Cimberley, our founder and programme director, created the first health and leadership programme focused on the nervous system and developed the physiology-based method behind Accelerate Health. Atlantic Reset is where she brings that method to teams on the coast. Accelerate Health's practitioners deliver the measurement and the clinical and psychological layer.

How far ahead do we need to book?

Four weeks for a Reset Day inside an event you have already planned. Eight to twelve weeks for the full programme, because the baseline phase needs two weeks before the offsite.

Not running an offsite?

Send one person, or a cohort, on the open programme.

The same method, delivered as a three-day leadership performance programme: five modules, 19 contact hours, an assessment at day 0 and day 30, and a certificate of completion. Written so it can be approved from a training and development budget.
